I found this project confusing and difficult to complete. Although the finishing product was a beaut, the process was painful and I hope we never do anything like it again. The project turned out okay I will admit, Although I had trouble keeping it in perspective. I feel that I did a decent job on the game cards but the game board looks sickly. If you wanted to torture me and we were to do this project over again, I would definitely start by sketching the perspective lines before anything else. I would also go a step further and add shading and color the background. Today I learned that not every art project suits everyone's needs, even though it is good to explore all your mountains on your green earth.
This obviously goes deeper than the art itself.

THIS ISN'T MINE BUT MINE WAS FORGOTTEN SO I AM FORCED TO WRITE ABOUT SOMEONE ELSES:
In this colored pencils anamorphosis, a grid was used to measure the dimensions on photoshop. We stretched it upward and changed the perspective to make the top half heavier. By transforming and stretching the object, when you look at it from a certain angle, it looks realistic. To make it look even more realistic, you shadow the object.
The most important concept in this this project was to remember the scale. As soon as you screw up the scale, the rest of your drawing looks funky forever. That, and never forget the value of value! Colors are just as important visually as the scale is.

In Halloween spirit..
I dove into this project without a plan of action beforehand, and i'm very satisfied with how it turned out. I began this project by tracing Jack Skellington and then cutting him out with a Xacto knife. From there, I spray painted him over a background. I used purple and white to complete my stencil. I beleive I added the correct amount of depth to this project.
I used newspapers and pages from art history textbooks to create my stencil. I chose the pictures in the book that relatived to the topic of halloween, which was hard to pull off. I made a collage of the pictures that I worked hard to find.
I changed the threshold by adding different colors into my stencil, otherwise the proportions would be off. I think this stencil has a beautiful and well-balanced contrast. I beleive that I This stencil is creative and puts you in the mood for the holiday.

Overall, My artwork reflects my attitude. I beleive my artwork had perfect balance of colors and a beautiful rhythm. I added texture into the print by leaving lines while creating the leaves surrounding the iguana. This was important because it created a 'sketchy' look in the background. I used more negative than positive space to complete this project. Some obstacles include the fact that I dug too deep into the rubber that we carved on. An advantage included the fact that the leaves were very easy to complete a vast number of them.
I had a wonderful time doing this project and hope to do something like his very soon in the future.

Collaboration and cooperation played HUGE roles in the project. We had to make a couple quick decisions as a group for the sake of our Pac-Man, but we solved the minor problems and got right back on the road. Only a team with an incredible amount of cooperation could have overcame what we have in the past week.
When collaborating, it's important to understand every person's opinion towards the issue. You'll need to ask every person's view on the subject before making a group decision. Working on a team requires leadership skills as well as a listening ear.
In my opinion, Our project was very successful. We had completed the main body of the mural by the second day, and worked on the details for the rest of the time. We had to use our improvisation skills for some of the fine details in colors, but because of our practiced collaboration skills, the Pac-Man turned out magnificent.
My feelings involving the interactive art drawn in the middle of the courtyard are all optimistic. I hope that others can enjoy my artwork and interact with it as intended. I hope that my artwork will inspire others as I am inspired by my artwork as well.

WHEN developing my drawing, I noticed the different textures of the face and the different shades for the contrast. I noticed how the figures eye are shaped on one side of the face is different then the other side. I noticed how the shadow made his eyebrows look thicker.
Before beginning this sketch, I made a quick value chart on a seperate sheet of paper as a reference. I noticed the very right of his head was the darkest and the left was the lightest and went from there. By using this technique, It allowed me to achieve full range of the different values within my portrait.
The artwork I did today was more neat then usual. I didn't venture out of the lines and kept the drawing looking similar to the original picture.
I ran into a bit of trouble when crossing over to the dark side of the face (the right side) and had to make a quick decision to change my value scale. Thankfully, I overcame it and saved the day.

☑Cartoon Bones ☑
I was NERVOUS at first...This was my first "real" project in Art class and my adrenaline was pumping. I was convinced my artwork in previous art classes would never amount to anything worthy of being displayed on the World Wide Web.
When I began on the Bones project, I first focused all of my attention on the odd head shape of the character in my picture.
The ribcage is the body part that I had the roughest time with, yet I managed to overcome my weaknesses and pull it together just in time.
It was a truly outspoken experience and will be difficult to top in artwork in the future.
Thanks to Mr. Sands for the opportunity ♧
